Six paddlers gathered at the clubhouse about 6.30 PM on Thursday 12 January for a moon paddle to Lismore Lake and return. Sophia, Ned, Chris Porter, Nell from Melbourne, Penelope and myself enjoyed a fine paddle on an eerie, beautiful, warm night with storms threatening but never quite getting to us.
Penelope enjoyed the lights of our boats on the water, the bats overhead, the friendly atmosphere, the shared food and the way we looked after each other.
We should rename our moon paddles as “Dracula Tours!”
